The Christa McAuliffe Technology Conference

Today I attended the CMTC in Manchester, NH.  For those of you that don't know the name Christa McAuliffe, she was the New Hampshire "teacher in space" astronaut that died on the launching of the Space Shuttle Challenger.

Even if you couldn't attend the conference, the website has some great links used by the presenters.

  1. Charisse,

Thanks for blogging the website link to the session from the CMTC you went to. I had a chance to look at some of the sessions (wow, there was a ton of them!) and the 'extension links' that the presenters sited could really be of help for many of us when addressing technology uses, issues, and curriculum uses.

I opened the Ipad session link and the list of applications for the ipad were numerous. Unfortunately I didn't find any that I could use but others in our online class or in my building would be able to use them!

    Amy :)

  2. Amy,
I almost feel (at least this year), that the links were better than the classes. Not that the presenters were poor, but rather with the links I can pick and choose what I need and not bother with the rest.

  3. Charisse,
Thank you for posting the link. I have been to this conference before but never thought to look online for additional resources. What a great tool for those of us who could not make it this year.
