Great website for teaching about Thanksgiving treaditions, the people who started it and their life and journey to America. I liked that their were teacher's guides for different grade levels to build upon. And, since we are discussing accessibility issues - I would say this site has developed many different activities and offers many different ways to access all the information! Thanks for sharing...oh, you should tweet this website!
Amy, I agree that this site allows for different learners. I think I used it last year and it still had some bugs to work out. I was pleasantly surprised with the upgrades.
Great Site! I like the amount of varied media within the exploration of the voyage and the ship. When I clicked into Tour the Ship and saw that the passages had audio links that read the passages I was impressed. The addition of the sound bites increases the number of students that can access the information and become engaged by the rich history.
Or you could say Plimoth!

ReplyDeleteHelen,
ReplyDeleteI didn't sign up. I think because it would have straddled two classes. I did use some of the personal videos and the students wanted more.
